Holiday Party - Toasting in Style

Happy Holidays everyone! I am still getting my home back in order after another fantastic annual holiday party this past weekend. Champagne was again the drink of choice so I thought I would share some modern champagne flutes I came across while preparing for my party this year. So chic! Since my bar was set up outside, I chose to replenish the bar with some affordable champagne flutes. I usually have a couple of flute casualties every year so I save the more expensive flutes for smaller gatherings that are a little less crazy :).

After five years of having this party you would think I would have the timing down perfectly but that is not the case. If you are also in need of some hostess fine tuning, check out the holiday party checklist/timeline below. Next year I am hoping to be one glass of champagne in by the time my first guest arrives :).

Cheers the holidays in Italian, French, Chinese, English, German and Japanese - LOVE these!

Dainty, Chic & Unique - they also help guests remember their glass :)

Lovely wintery West Elm flutes - find them in stores as they seem to be sold out online.

I have a set of these and ADORE them! This was the flute I was holding all night this year at my party.  Crate & Barrel

Ultra modern Verve flute from Crate & Barrel

The holiday bar was stocked with this flute this year since party goers were stylishly sipping outdoors. 6 pack for $4.99 at Ikea.

For those who want to pump up of the flute volume with some color.

Finally, the most organized and thorough holiday party checklist I could find is of course provided by Martha Stewart herself. Any hostess with the mostess will enjoy this list :). Also check out her holiday season timeline.
