Scene: Haus Interior LA Opening

Emily Ruddo, owner Nina Freudenberger and Meghan Beierle-O'Brien
After an all day photo shoot for Toujours Magazine issue 3, Meghan Beierle-O'Brien and I rushed over to friend Nina Freudenberger's new Los Angeles Haus Interior store opening party. Some of you may recognize the decor hot spot name from Nina's flagship NYC location on Elizabeth Street. The new LA store has a soothing yet hip color palette of shades of navy, gray, white and brown. I was very impressed with Nina's well edited accessories organized creatively throughout the store. With its dark gray walls and rugs hung like wallpaper, you will feel inspired yet calmed all at once.

Tones of blues and grays with a creative way to display rugs by hanging them like wallpaper.

Clean lined furniture with the must have Pendleton wool throw and carrying case for romantic picnics or tailgates.
So many interesting architectural objects in the store
These old school lightbulbs with large filaments are definitely unique.
Specialty drink for the evening created by Lulu Powers.

More floor to ceiling rug displays.
Needing to find a home for these beauties
These cotton throws in gray and creme are at an excellent price at $195
Same throw comes in Navy too. I am loving the stripe one. Feels like a huge cotton cozy sweater.

More Navy, white and brown rugs and adorable antler hooks for only $45! Larger one is only $95.

More amazing throws

Have any of you been to Nina's store in NYC? What do you think of the style?
