Party Styling: Woodsy Wedding

Back in early November I was hired to do flowers and styling for a wonderful woodsy wedding on a ranch in Malibu, California. The gorgeous bride wanted a wild flower easy breezy look and feel as if the flowers were just picked from the field.  So I kept it casual with loose table arrangements in shades of green and white that weren't fussy. Even on a tight floral budget, the arrangements are full and create an earthy boho feel.

Cocktail tables outside were adorned with candles and bud vases with similar flowers used on the dining tables. I added leftover twine for an added detail.

Galvanized buckets were used as the vessel to achieve that casual earthy style.
Birch name card holders add the woodsy element to the name card table. Old photos of family weddings add a vintage feel.
Tall galvanized containers were continued on the name card table for consistency holding tall maple leaf branches

Looking forward to doing more party styling this year! I love working with flowers :)

  1. I love this look. It's gorgeous, and subtly conveys a well-thought theme. I'd love to work this into Long Island weddings I'm planning.
